Vertech is very pleased to announce that we are the first Australasian company to gain the lucrative American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) – Recognized External Specialist Certification in Remote Inspection Techniques – Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).
This gives us the ability to utilise UAV to assist ABS in all Annual, Intermediate, and Special Surveys; in addition to all other UAV requirements. Integrating this capability into our highly experienced Class Survey inspection teams will substantially improve cost/time efficiency, access capabilities to difficult inspection locations, and decrease personnel exposure time to working at height; and with further development, complete unmanned confined space entry.
We will continue developing this ever-evolving technology with other partner Classification Societies and offer the latest technological solution to meet all of your inspection, maintenance, and access requirements.
