Ballast Tank Engineered Decking – Alternative Access
Using an engineered decking system to access the roof space of a ballast tank provided a cost-efficient solution allowing multiple work fronts and 3rd party contractors to undertake repair and maintenance scopes quickly and with a smaller footprint and vastly lower tonnage quantities than conventional scaffold. The system allowed the facility to continue to ballast in the tank.
Fixed Platform Splash zone Coatings Remediation
Rising to the challenge of mandatory full containment for both workers and blasting debris, Vertech worked closely with the client to design and implement a dual-purpose containment system that alleviated the need for standby vessels and ensured no product entered the sea on a fixed gas platform.
Flare Steelwork Remediation
During an incredibly tight 9-day shutdown window, we were tasked to undertake various maintenance scopes requiring specialised rope access riggers working 24 hours to deliver steelwork remediation and upgrades to a 90m flare tower.
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Class Survey
With a drive to Eliminate exposure to working at height and confined space entries, our fleet of class accredited UAVs flew in both in confined spaces, along the side shell, jacket and flare structures of FPSOs and fixed assets. Vertech was the first company in the Asia Pacific to achieve the ABS classification society certification for Drone inspections for Marine survey purposes.
